About Us - The Story of ZipLine

ZipLine icon ipLine is the first "software as a service" application created and sold by Ideal-Logic, LLC.   Originally, we created this online real time collaboration workspace to help our small company keep track of software applications we were developing.   We had files scattered across multiple computers, and we always had to email files back and forth.   We duplicated our efforts a lot.

We had multiple whiteboards completely full of task lists, and they stayed that way for months as a monument to past projects.   We tried to put these lists into spreadsheets, but it was just too hard to keep the spreadsheets in sync between us.   We also struggled to keep a shared calendar that mixed our meeting dates with our project due dates, since we usually didn't know each other's schedules.

As a small company we are always networking and meeting lots of new and interesting people.   This means lots of business cards, and we didn't have a centralized place to put all this valuable information, so we needed a shared contact list.

These are just a few reasons why we created ZipLine, the Ultimate Collaboration Tool.

Our mission is to create an affordable solution for collaborating and sharing your projects and work while still being intuitive and powerful to use. ZipLine is intended to help startup companies, small to large businesses, independent consultants, small offices or departments, and project managers solve the problem of organizing and sharing their work.

Ideal-Logic, LLC, the company that created ZipLine, was founded in 2008. Our mission is to create affordable web-based software applications that solve real-world problems.
